Glide was founded BY river paddlers FOR river paddlers. As SUP moved inland, it was clear that ocean boards couldn’t handle the rigors of running the whitewater rivers that Glide considered home.

All of our highly crafted boards are finished in our patent pending Glide Secret Sauce (GSS) This two part polymer allows Glide boards to go any where, do virtually anything, without the fear of breaking. Rivers are made up of rocks and water. Come to find out, rocks hurt boards. NOT if your board is finished with GSS. You can actually use our boards without fear of breaking them or dinging them on every rock you see.
