I am teaching our final #jbyoga #supyoga #teachertraining of the year this weekend, (your next opportunity is Tulum in February!), and every time I teach these trainings, pass on my tips and tricks, share my passion for teaching yoga on the water, I am reminded of how lucky I am. Today was no different. Spending the entire day on the water, watching the shifting of the weather from foggy and gray to hot blue skies that felt like the middle of July, and then the wind dying down, the water glassing off, and the sky taking on this magical color just illustrated for me again how beyond grateful I am for Mother Earth, Mother Ocean, the yoga practice, stand up paddleboarding, and bringing that all together in a way that is so wondrous and magical. It's not always so easy and perfect, and anyone that teaches sup or sup yoga will tell you that the physical labor can be quite intense, many hours in the hot sun and salty water does take its toll, and being at the total mercy of the weather can be stressful to say the least, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Life is short- my wish for each and every one of you is that you wake up stoked to start your day, that you love what you do, no matter what it is, and that you inspire those around you by sharing what you love ❤️.
