Jul 5 Social Instagram So many people tell me they can't do SUP yoga because it's too challenging or they don't have enough balance. But there are so many poses any one CAN do, such as seated poses. I encourage starting with something simple, as one of the best gifts of SUP yoga is the connection to nature, which is not as attainable if you are trying to land a handstand or some other challenging posture. So before you give up, try keeping it simple - soak in the beauty & sensation of nature around you & you'll discover a complete & satisfying practice. This is Jessica @waveofwellness on the Boardworks Joyride Flow. I have always admired yoga poses for their fluidity and strength, when out in the beauty of nature they achieve a beautiful symmetry with the surroundings, a sort of balance that human beings seem to struggle to find with nature. Being there surrounded by all of this unbelievable beauty this image encompassed so many things for me. There is a beautiful union and connection between the surroundings and her. The water echoes the fluidity of the pose and the rocks the strength it takes to hold it. Yet all of it is held together by the hands and fingers, a bond that over time weakens and can go at any time , a reminder of how strong but fragile our world is. I love how photography allows me to pour my thoughts and emotions into an image at the moment of capture but also continually reminds me of how wonderful and beautiful this world is every time I look at them.
