Aug 21 Social Werner FB Day 1 racing from the Columbia Gorge Paddle Challenge. Team Werner Paddles had some great results amongst the best stand up paddle racers in the world. Tyler Bashor took the win in the juniors race and the opposite end of the age scale, local MacRae Wylde won the 50 over age group. Josh Riccio, all the way from Hawaii, scored a top 15 putting him in contention with the combined points from Sunday's 'Double Dowinder.' Lina Augaitis takes 8th while Fiona Wylde ends up 3rd and will certainly threaten to take the overall with her downwind skills on Sunday. Aug 21 Social Werner FB 'Insider Coverage,' from Columbia Gorge Paddle Challenge. Day 1 racing saw Annabelle Anderson and Connor Baxter take the win in the 'Super Lap,' with Werner Paddles own Tyler Bashor winning the 'Grom Race.' On the opposite end of the age scale, Tyler's Team mate local MacRae Wylde, won the 50 over age group. Other top finishers from the Team were Josh Riccio, all the way from Hawaii, scoring a top 15 and putting him in position to move up the leaderboard with his combined points from Sunday's 'Double Dowinder.'
